From the history of Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé there is little that is unknown. Think so. A book, “Letters to Yves’ published by the author Bergéafter the death of fashion designer, a documentary,” L ‘amour fou’ of PierreThoretton (2010) and rivers of ink in the international press.

The strength of the project is that it will partner with one of the protagonists of real history, Bergé. “This film will benefit from the valuable support of PierreBergé, who works closely with the director Jalil Lespert” say from Wyproduction, which is partnering with Universal Pictures International in Francefor the development of this project.

There have been many proposals that have come to love Yves Saint Laurentfor the movie, but none had been convinced so far. “Jalil Lespert came to me with their sensitivity, their enthusiasm and creative vision, I realized that I hadbefore me the director could tell this story,” says Bergé.

Although there is still no release date or names of potential players, what we can advance is that the film will go back to 1958. Year in which Yves SaintLaurent and Pierre Bergese met. From there, the story combines love, fashion, jealousy, addiction, art, and a promise of eternity.
