The Prince of Asturias has urged large international investors to support young entrepreneurs, “a generation full of ideas, talent and value,” they need the full support of all to prosper. Speaking at the inauguration of Spain Investors‘ Day, a meeting between the major Spanish companies and a group of about 210 international investors, Felipe said that Spain has “strengths that make it a preferred destination for investments” and has argued that it is in their “best” to welcome foreign capital.

Despite the “difficulties” of the Spanish economy, “there is really a change and reforms are being put in place,” he assured the prince in a speech entirely in English. “We are facing substantial problems, needs transformation of our economy,” he added. “Of course it is a huge task that requires delicate and participation in society and public and private institutions,” he reiterated Philip to international investors and managers of companies in the Ibex 35.
