With a thunderous fireworks of firecrackers and copious family banquets, the Chinese celebrate the Lunar New Year night, that this time coincides with the dragon, mythical beast par excellence in the Asian giant.

In keeping with tradition, Chinese families will gather around a round table-symbol of perfection that is desired for the relationships between relatives-in order to share a delicious dinner. On the menu will not miss the fish, a sign of wealth to be achieved in 2012, the chicken, to bring luck to the home, and, of course, the delicious “dumplings,” a kind of dumplings stuffed with meat, vegetables or seafood that constitute the typical dish of the holidays.
