PP deputy Federico Trillo will be appointed in the coming days, Spain’s ambassador to the United States to replace the diplomat Jorge Dezcallar. The decision was made early last January, after a conversation with the Prime Minister, Mariano Rajoy, informed reliable sources. Trillo was in mid-January a few days in London doing an intensive course to improve and restore their English.
With this decision, Rajoy sent to the Spanish Embassy in Washington to a heavy weight, as well Trillo president of Congress, has also been defense minister and a trusted leader of the PP during the last two legislatures in opposition.
