Facebook, social network MEANS ONE BILLION
Joe Lockhart, head of global communications at Facebook and former Secretary of press U.S. president Bill Clinton, is leaving the company. Lockhart, the latest senior executive to leave Facebook after disappointing IPO last May, will step down 15 months after joining the world’s largest social network.
A spokeswoman for Facebook said Lockhart left the company because he decided to stay on the east coast of the United States and chose not to move to California, where Facebook is based. The last day of Lockhart on Facebook has not yet been determined. The spokesman said the company looks forward to working with Lockhart as an independent consultant.
