A renowned staff of 22 scientists from around the world, including some Spanish Council for Scientific Research, warned that the Earth is approaching a collapse imminent and irreversible. Since its inception, the Earth has undergone five major episodes of mass extinctions associated with climate changes that have transformed the characteristics of the entire planet. The last big big change came about 14,000 years ago, when 30% of the land area lost the ice that covered during the last glacial period. Since then, the planet has remained fairly stable until the emergence and development of human civilization. However, scientists believe that this is about to change. And the fault is clearly ours.
