The International Sailing Federation (ISAF) has selected Sunday the Spanish city of Santander to organize the World Championships, 2014 Olympic Sailing.The Cantabrian capital has thus imposed candidate cities wings that had been submitted from countries such as Argentina, Canada, China, Denmark, Korea, Netherlands and Poland. The decision has taken the International SailingFederation, which met in Reykjavik, Iceland’s capital, to give its verdict.

For Spain, after its long tradition in this discipline, is a great achievement and motivation.
