The year 2012 has been a tough year economically for most of Spanish, but not for Amancio Ortega, founder of Inditex.
The billionaire businessman was more increased his fortune last year worldwide, according to the index of ‘billionaires’ that elaborates Bloomberg and published every day.
Specifically, Galician magnate’s fortune rose by 63% to 57,500 million due to higher shares of Inditex, of which owns 59%.
Inditex titles have gone up by 72% last year thanks to the successful operation and expansion of overseas textile group, which has become the largest company by market capitalization, ahead of Banco Santander and Telefonica.
